It has been just in these short few months that we have totally plugged our self back into church.
As I stated in earlier posts, it was our kids that called us back in. It was in their spirit.
As some may know my oldest child, Christopher, has been diagnosed with a mild form of autism. so emotions are hard to decipher with him.
when we arrived home after Wednesday services Christopher said " we didn't do that thing that we always do"
Trying to understand what he was trying to say I asked "what thing" Christopher Replied " You know, that Thing..."
it quickly dawned upon me that he was thinking of Psalms 91
On Sunday, Our Church says that before services begin, or after praise and worship.
Chris noticed it was not said last night. (last night being Wednesday)
I told Chris, I think we only do that on Sundays.
My son then re sighted Psalms 91 flawlessly
I was such a proud Momma!!!!!!
Psalm 91
King James Version (KJV)
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

here is a break down so we can apply to our lives also for you and your family
Psalm 91
Psalm 91 are not words of comfort “in” times of trouble, they are words of deliverance “from” times of trouble.
Psalm 91 is the preventative measure that God has given to His children against every evil known to mankind.
It is the defensive measure to ward off every evil before it has time to strike. This is not just a cure but a total prevention.

I choose to live in the shelter of the Most High (By believing that
God, Himself, is a literal place of refuge where I can be physically
protected when I am willing to run to him)
I find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
***The promises of Psalm 91 hinge on this first verse***
I SAY (verbalize out loud) to the Lord, You are my refuge and my fortress, my place of safety. You are my Lord and my god! It is in you that I put my total trust
Surely You will save me from the enemy’s trap (Temptation custom made, placed and baited specifically for me)
and from the deadly pestilence (Harm. 1. any virulent or fatal disease 2. an epidemic that hits masses of people 3. any deadly disease that attaches itself to ones body with the intent to destroy)
You cover me with your feathers and under your wings I MAY find refuge (its up to me to make the decision to seek refuge under His wings but I have to run to Him in faith. If I do the enemy will have to go through God to get to me!)
Your faithful promises and Your faithfulness are my shield (which completely hides me from the enemy) and bulwark (a tower from which arrows are shot, and large stones are thrown against the enemy. From this tower God points out the enemy so he can’t slip up on my blind side)
I will not fear the terror of the night (all the evils that come through man: kidnapping, robbery, rape, murder, terrorism, wars...It is the dread, horror, or alarm that comes from what man can do to me)
I find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

I will not fear the terror of the night (all the evils that come through man: kidnapping, robbery, rape, murder, terrorism, wars...It is the dread, horror, or alarm that comes from what man can do to me)
or the arrow that
flies by day (Something that pierces or wounds spiritually, physically,
mentally, emotionally or financially which is aimed at the spot that
will cause me the most damage. God wants me to ask and believe by faith
that He will pick me up out of harms way and deliver me from calamity)
Or the pestilence that stalks in the darkness (AIDS, cancer, heart disease, etc…I are redeemed from the curse of the law!!!)
or the plague that destroys at midday (evils over which mankind has no control and ignorantly calls Acts of God: tornadoes, floods, fire… Do not be afraid of destruction, run to His shelter, destruction will not approach me)
A thousand my fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand dying around me, but it will not come near me (Even though there are some who don’t believe God, their unbelief will never cancel out His promises to the ones who do believe)
I will only observe with my eyes and see the punishment of the wicked
Because I have made the Lord my refuge and my dwelling, no disaster will come near my tent (The opportunity to exercise faith, not only for my self, but for the protection of my entire household, is being given to me. I don’t have to constantly be afraid that something bad is going to happen to one of my family members)
Because You give your angels command over me to keep me and guard me in all my ways, they will lift me up in their hands so that I will not strike my foot against a stone (God has given the angels, and not circumstances, authority to act on my behalf. There are all sorts of things from which I am spared which I don’t even know of because of the intervention of God’s angels on my behalf. They are constantly rendering me aid and taking charge of my affairs)
These terms are a figurative way to describe the different kinds of satanic oppression. When we encounter the enemy it is not the time to start praying. We need to be already prayed up. When we encounter the enemy, we need to be speaking forth the authority that we have in the Name of Jesus. At the moment of the new birth, we have enough power at our disposal to tread upon the enemy without being harmed!!!!!
I will tread upon the lion (bold, loud, blatant, and overt problems that come out into the open and hit us head on and seem insurmountable, such as, a car wreck, a verbal attack, or a unexpected bill at the end of the month that sets off a chain reaction on checks bouncing) and the cobra (problems that seem to sneak up on us like a snake in the grass as we are going through our day minding our own business. They are undercover attacks that bring sudden death. Deceptive schemes that keep us blinded until they devour us. Unexpected church splits, or marriages that fall apart suddenly
The young lion (little things that grow into full grown problems if we don’t handle them. These kinds of problems come against us to harass and destroy us gradually)
and the dragon (dragons aren’t real!!! These are fears that are a figment of your imagination, harmless sounding enough, but they can be as deadly as reality if we believe them, they cause us to do a lot of unnecessary running in our life from something that’s not even chasing us)
I will trample under my feet

These 7 promises are for those who love God and have genuinely set their love on Him
You
say because I love You, that You will deliver and rescue me You will
protect me and set me on High because I acknowledge Your Name When I
call upon You Lord, You will answer me You will be with me in trouble,
You will rescue me You will deliver me and honor me With a long
life you will satisfy
me And show me Your
salvation
