Positive thinking isn't denial; it's the accurate realization that we don't know everything and therefore, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE...

Making More Lefts

No, Not Politically, But when Driving.  For years I have been a Nervous Nelly while driving most of  the time White knuckling it, holding my steering wheel as if I was on a amusement park roller coaster ride.

I would often make 3 rights to get to my destination just so I would not have to make a left......

but, feeling more confident I am making lefts.

Who Took the FUN out of FUNERALS????

This is an Honest true story......

My Aunt passed almost a year ago.  One of my Family members who attended the wake and funeral commented and said ."Her make-up looked awful"  nothing about how wonderful of person, what she would remember of this person, or how sorry she is for the kids she left behind...,Just that her Make-up looked awful while she was laying in a casket..
(this is the same person who suggested I should have aborted every child I have had...)

(yup, this is my family..and they wonder why I don't talk to them and why some have restraining orders against them so they can not come near my kids)

the only response I had was..."well, you do know she is dead...."

on a side note and  kind of off the subject...I thought a great name/ or slogan for a funeral home should be..

You Mary them, We bury them

Think if you were like Liz Taylor...you married them all and we have a 2 for one special...for every 2 husbands you have Married, you can have every third burial for free...

feeling a little (a lot)  twisted today...

Just A Girl & Her flute

Gabby had a band concert...she has been playing the flute for three years now...anyway...I could not believe how grown up she looked.  It seems she is 13 going on 38 and I am 38 going on 13......

RaGGed AnNiE

the story Goes
This is the way she came home one day. she was helping, well she wasn't really helping she was told she better get out of there or she would have to go to bed while the sun was still shining. So anyway, she was pitching bales with one of the mean brothers, and they were almost done, they had 101 bales on the wagon because she counted them. when the last bale was thrown on the mean brother threw her off the wagon and under the wagon she went. She didn't meet God and all of her dead pets, so somehow she survived it, it was said that the field was soft and therefore didn't take all of the stuffing out of her. Anyway she was stunned and darn mad at the brother. but as you can see she did manage a few scratches because a new mowed field is very sharp and no country girl I know would ever run across a field without her shoes. she did get in into some other accidents but we can't go into them all today, because you know I can go and on, but I will tell you this, that meanie brother did loose a front tooth because of me........

A New Creation ~ Sophia's baptisim

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

2 Corinthians 5:17

A few weeks back Sophia asked Daddy if she could be baptised. Her heart was willing and ready..I remember when she was dedicated, she was just an infant then. When she was sitting on the front pew on Sunday with Eyes and Ears willing to receive..it was beautiful
It has only been a few months since we returned back to Agape Faith church..As much as I am ashamed it has been so long, I am also proud, it was out of the mouth of Babes. it was our children who wanted to get back on track. out of obedience and reverential fear Michael made the first step. What A Man!! and I love him for that.

  1. Matthew 21:16
and said to Him, “Do You hear what these are saying?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes. Have you never read, ‘Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have perfected praise’?”
Matthew 21:15-17 (in Context) Matthew 21 (Whole Chapter)
When Sophia was praising God with her arms up in the air, how can I deny her of going to church? I can't. i think the thought of meeting God and being held accountable put a reverential fear in me. We so Love him, because He First loved us....
Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:5-7
