New Business Adventures
As many of you know, I love to take pictures.
I also love to cook.
So it was fate when I teamed up with Henry Meat Co! Just by a casual conversation at the local farmers market.
I had the awesome opportunity to go out to their farm.
It is an experience to see where your meat comes from. The live stock are treated humanly and live very happy lives before coming to your plate.
(you honestly can taste the freshness!!)
Happy Cows, pigs, and Lambs do taste better!
if you folks get a chance hop on over to their website and learn more about'em
Of course my pay out was meat!
so, having fun shooting, cooking and eating.
I will post some of those pictures later. Perhaps on my new food blog :)
(ps, I am now doing face book, so you can find my food pics there if ya don't wan't to wait!)

I can now officially add Food Stylist/Food Photographer to my list of accomplishments.

PHOCKING Good......
I have been suffering from a sinus infection for at least 6 weeks. I have a couple of days where I feel okay, then BAM ...this morning woke up to both my ears throbbing along with a sore throat.
Since and because Miss Soot sold, I was able to make some Pork Pho. I sure am hoping the healing properties of broth work its magic.
Also made some Vietnamese meat balls!

| My Finished Dish, served with a housin sauce flavored with chilies and fish sauce along with soy |
![]() |
| My Pho started with pork neck bones, ginger, garlic cinnamon stick, star of anise, lemon grass paste (gotta grow lemon grass next year) and onion |
![]() |
| Meat balls included pork, ginger, garlic, shallots, salt and pepper, Thai chili, cilantro and thai basil. also threw in some fish sauce and sugar. |

| Killed 2 birds with one stone. after I sliglty seared the meat balls I steamed them over the PHO broth. THE BEST balls around, bouncy, juicy and you just wanna pop in your mouth.... |

| And because I had some on had, thinly sliced raw steak over my soup, it cooked in the very hot PHO broth |

Nadine Darkgreen
Meet Nadine Darkgreen.
She is cousin of the Dis and Dat Family, You know the ones that kept all the turnips and potatoes in a hole under the house? Anyway..the hole was so small so only the skinny relatives got to go down there. What very few knew was that there was another world to be seen. Sometimes evil Edith would be playing a large organ...it was a sight to see, but again you had to be very skinny to go down under the house where there was a hole where all of the potatoes and turnips were kept...
I will go on about this later, maybe on another day.
