Positive thinking isn't denial; it's the accurate realization that we don't know everything and therefore, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE...

Hand Made By God ~Signed & Dated

It is once again in the middle of night and I find myself typing So I can share with you how good God is.  I am not sure why it is in the middle of the night I find myself sharing God's word, but when I can't sleep and start asking God and Praying that I am
obedient to his voice I am lead to my keyboard.

I can't share anything unless I have experienced it myself and have partaken in it myself. So here I am sharing with you what has been made real to me.

Hand Made By God Signed & Dated

On all of my dolls now, I sew on a piece of fabric that has a picture of a sewing machine on it.  I then sign and date it, then there is a little heart charm sewn on that says "Handmade with love"

All of this had me thinking how we are God's Workmanship, His Handiwork

I love how The Amplified Bible Says This

For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].  Ephesians 2:10

First lets go to the beginning...In Genesis

I think how God Made Us, He made us not only in His image, but according to His likeness. Genesis 1:27 (this is a whole other thing I would love to go in depth on a later date)

Just like when  I make doll I know how to stuff my doll a certain way, where to use rags and not to use rags, I know all of the parts of a doll I make and how to stitch them together a certain way. Beginning From just a thought then to the design then onto muslin and stuffing, these are the foundations of my dolls

How Awesome God knew us and Created us!

Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;
you formed me in my mother’s womb.
I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking!
Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
    I worship in adoration—what a creation!
You know me inside and out,
    you know every bone in my body;
You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,
how I was sculpted from nothing into something.
Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth;
all the stages of my life were spread out before you,
The days of my life all prepared
before I’d even lived one day.
Psalm 139:13-15 (taken from The Message)

After I make a doll I take pictures of it, I have a photo album just of all of the dolls I have made.  I know God has a photo album of all of his children, and they are inscribed in the palm of His Hand (Isaiah 49:16).

Before I mail out the doll to the new owners I take a lint roller get all loose fibers off, cut off loose strings..do a once  look over.  This is my quality control, the only thing missing is the "inspected by" sticker

When the doll arrives to the new owner, I still want to make sure everything looks picture perfect, this brings me back to the label that I sew on dolls stating that I have made it, I want to make sure the doll represents me well.  I want my doll to show that I have put my very best quality, hard work and love into it.

I think how God has Signed and dated Me, so therefore I want to represent Him according to His Will.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.  Matthew 5:16

A Wash Machine Testimony

When You plant Seeds of Laundry Soap, Your Harvest may be a Wash Machine.

that is Exactly what happen to me.

My Wash Machine had been on the fritz.  with each load it washed it sounded sicker and sicker. More noises, then leaks.  We had one of those Fancy Wash Machines...( you may have even read about it when I posted it on my blog a few years back.)

Well, About 3 weeks ago the machine started beeping, and the digital code on the machine blinked "F"

Oh, I knew what "F" meant.  I looked in the owners manual, and I kid you not it has "F" written out like this "F###" with the hash tags  hmm, yup I knew what "F" meant.

In the past couple of months before my wash machine went out I had given away close to 30 bottles of laundry soap.  My husband asked "what do you think your harvest will be? More laundry Soap? "

I said, "No, I am hoping for a wash machine."

Now, I was not given out laundry soap so I could get one, it was just on my heart to give all of this laundry soap.

So In passing when I was telling my friend that my wash machine bit the dust someone over heard. She Said they had 2 wash machines and wanted to bless me with one of them!!! that was almost 3 weeks ago.

I have been wanting to post this since then, Now I know the reason why I hadn't.

The story was not yet complete.

At 3 a.m. This morning I had a dream of a basket full of dirty clothes.  I then woke up and started to write this out with pencil and paper.

 We are the dirty clothes
God is the Wash Machine
Jesus is the ultimate Stain remover
The Holy Spirit is the Fabric Softener that dwells on the entire piece of clothing after being washed with the Stain remover.

We don't have be washed in a Soak cycle, the soak cycle represents Works and religion. (Ephesians 2:8-9)  Works and religion says you have  to wear your hair a certain length, say repetitive prayers, can't celebrate holidays, stay in condemnation(Romans 8:1)  and do so many works to make yourself presentable before God.  By staying in the soak cycle you are saying that Jesus..the ULTIMATE stain lifter did not do enough to pay for our dirty clothes to be clean. (1 John 1:9)

There is NO "Dry clean only" with God.  The only way to come to the father is Through Jesus. (John 14:6)

God is not a "One Size fits most" God is a "One size fits ALL"  (act 10:34)
Meaning no matter how dirty your clothes are he cleans it fully.  No stain is to big for the ultimate stain remover.  If He cleaned my clothes and made them spotless, He will do the exact same thing for you.

Now we can be stainless before God with our Clean clothes (Ephesians 1:4)

Since I want to know God's Charachter and will and be more like Jesus, I will starch and iron myself with God's word anytime my clothing gets wrinkled.  (Romans 12:2)

And God just doesn't want us to put ourselves on a hanger and stay in the closet to only be worn on Sunday or special occasions.  God wants us to wear our clean clothes ALL THE TIME for all to see. (Matthew 5:16) Our clean clothes are not our Cross necklaces or fish symbols on the car,
it is how we treat each others even when they are throwing dirt at our clean clothes. (Matthew 5:42-48)

Have a most wonderful day today my friends
Until Next time,
Heidi

A Toilet Paper Testimony

A Toilet Paper Testimony

A few weeks back we were in a tight spot.  Payday was still more then a week away and I had nothing on ebay.

We only had one roll of toilet paper left.

My husband had taken a paid vacation day off so we could get some things done.  One of the things we needed to do is re-apply at the food pantry.  (not only do we volunteer there, we are clients too..)

Hubby had taken in the needed paperwork and when he left the lady gave him a 4 count package of toilet paper. (note, He did not say we needed toilet paper..she just gave it to him)

When hubby came home I saw the toilet paper and was like "PRAISE GOD!!" I told him we were on our last roll.

Now, this toilet paper was the off brand of the off brand, it was not soft, it was thin. You almost had to make a "catchers mitt" to wipe yourself and then it  clogged our toilet. But it was better then using leaves I thought

almost a week later and payday was still 3 days a way, we had one roll left.

Now, this was not magic toilet paper and it  did not keep on multiplying as the sheets were being used.

God Knew we needed this off brand, cheap, thin rough toilet paper to last us until we had  the funds to buy decent toilet paper.

Then I started to think about the Israelites in the desert.  How God humbled them and fed them,  How their clothes did not wear out and how their  shoes grew with their feet. (Deuteronomy 8:3-5)

were the Israelites happy that they had to wear the same clothes, shoes and eat the same food for 40 years?  God had to bring them to a place were they completely depended on Him.  God provides all of our needs according to his riches and Glory (Philippians 4:19)

They were Humbled.

Then on a Thursday I had gotten a pattern order, one of the first things I did was run out and got a package of the softest toilet paper I could buy!!

So last week when I was doing some major couponing/shopping I loaded up on Toilet paper.  I bought 5 big packages.  I felt comfort having all of my soft toilet paper.

Fast Forward to this week.

It came to my attention that a family I know has a need for some household items and food.  I know this is a need I can meet for this family.

So yesterday I began getting a care package together.  Filling it with food and couple of household items.

I had just bought a 10 count package of paper towels and put 2 rolls in the care package.

I asked God what else I should give.  I saw my toilet paper...I have ONLY ONE PACKAGE LEFT.... I was like God, how about I just give another roll of paper towels...

God reminded me how he met my need.  Now, I don't know if this family needs the toilet paper or not, But I Know i should give this toilet paper.

If God Knows how many hairs are on my head (Luke 12:7, Matthew 10:30)  THEN HE KNOWS HOW MANY SQUARES I NEED!!

I ain't gonna worry..I know God has my backside
