Hand Made By God ~Signed & Dated

It is once again in the middle of night and I find myself typing So I can share with you how good God is.  I am not sure why it is in the middle of the night I find myself sharing God's word, but when I can't sleep and start asking God and Praying that I am
obedient to his voice I am lead to my keyboard.

I can't share anything unless I have experienced it myself and have partaken in it myself. So here I am sharing with you what has been made real to me.

Hand Made By God Signed & Dated

On all of my dolls now, I sew on a piece of fabric that has a picture of a sewing machine on it.  I then sign and date it, then there is a little heart charm sewn on that says "Handmade with love"

All of this had me thinking how we are God's Workmanship, His Handiwork

I love how The Amplified Bible Says This

For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].  Ephesians 2:10

First lets go to the beginning...In Genesis

I think how God Made Us, He made us not only in His image, but according to His likeness. Genesis 1:27 (this is a whole other thing I would love to go in depth on a later date)

Just like when  I make doll I know how to stuff my doll a certain way, where to use rags and not to use rags, I know all of the parts of a doll I make and how to stitch them together a certain way. Beginning From just a thought then to the design then onto muslin and stuffing, these are the foundations of my dolls

How Awesome God knew us and Created us!

Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;
    you formed me in my mother’s womb.
I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking!
    Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
    I worship in adoration—what a creation!
You know me inside and out,
    you know every bone in my body;
You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,
    how I was sculpted from nothing into something.
Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth;
    all the stages of my life were spread out before you,
The days of my life all prepared
    before I’d even lived one day.
Psalm 139:13-15 (taken from The Message)

After I make a doll I take pictures of it, I have a photo album just of all of the dolls I have made.  I know God has a photo album of all of his children, and they are inscribed in the palm of His Hand (Isaiah 49:16).

Before I mail out the doll to the new owners I take a lint roller get all loose fibers off, cut off loose strings..do a once  look over.  This is my quality control, the only thing missing is the "inspected by" sticker

When the doll arrives to the new owner, I still want to make sure everything looks picture perfect, this brings me back to the label that I sew on dolls stating that I have made it, I want to make sure the doll represents me well.  I want my doll to show that I have put my very best quality,hard work and love into it.

I think how God has Signed and dated Me, so therefore I want to represent Him according to His Will.

  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.  Matthew 5:16

Things Are Looking GRIM

Debbie Downer and Serious Sally have nothing on the Grimley's.  Their life looks like a walk in the park compared to the Grimley's.  While the  Grimley's life is a walk in the cemetary.  they Fell into the Biz Years ago..they use to Marry people for a living, now they have outlived most of the people they have married.
Which left them with a great slogan.
We once Married them, Now We burry them.

Things are looking pretty darn Grim in the Grimley household. A husband and wife duo that have been married for a very long time. I don't think it was their life long dream to become undertakers, they just sorta fell into it I suppose.they stroll the grounds daily to make sure vandals haven't caused any damage, then at night lock the gates to keep vagabonds away.This is why Mr. Grimley carries a Skeleton key in his hand.Both Grimleys are made in the same fashion. The bodies are made from stained and painted osnaburg, while the head and hands are made from stained and painted muslin. they have separate fingers that are wired. both facial features include sculpted nose, indented eyes and stitched mouths.
Mr. Grimley Measures in at 33 inches from bottom of base to tippy top of painted osnaburg hat stitched on to his head. His hair has been stitched into place
Mrs. Grimley measures in at 29 inchesMrs. Grimley Vision is not what it use to be, that is why she wears glassesit is hard to separate the two of them....that is why they are being sold in a set...I have a feeling if they were to be separated they would quickly meet death

Gabby's First Homecoming Dance

Well, Gabby's first homecoming.*sigh*  I thought i was gonna cry.

It was a great chance for me to do some photography and play around in light room.  But in order to take pictures of Gabby I had to hold her hostage..said if she wanted money to go to the dance she would have to have me take pics.
A friend from church blessed her with her hair do and make up..got pics of that I have gotta post too..

Here in the next few days I am going to find the picture of my freshman year homecoming dance and share with you.

My dress was this awful peach taffeta with poofy sleeves, 2 sizes to big and I had mouth full of metal.  I am so glad Gabby has way more fashion sense then what  I did!

The Morning Song~First Day of School

watch while you can, the girls don't know I filmed this.....

UP UP UP
IT IS A GREAT DAY FOR UP

Well, this is the first year in YEARS  I have not been able to get all 3 kids together for "first day of school" pictures....

but keeping with tradition, I sing the Morning song...of course this is not done just on the first day of school..but every morning when school is in session and the kiddies are still in bed....it was tolerated well this morning. I think because they were all ready up...but give it a few weeks and Gabby will be yelling.....
